Celebrity Looks That Work The Red Carpet

Celebrity royalty ventured out Saturday night to honor Hollywood’s Clint Eastwood and artist  John Baldessari at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Art & Film Gala.  It was a star studded affair, and we have a few top picks of our own:

Amy Adams was stunning in a Blush Gucci gown.  The perfect color to accentuate her strawberry blonde locks.  She chose to leave her hair down and went with soft loose curls to add just a touch of a wave to her “Do”.

Her makeup was simple and elegant.  Peach blush highlighted her high cheekbones, and a nude peach lip with a touch of gloss was the perfect color that didn’t compete with her gown, but added a beautiful compliment to her look.  I LOVE that she didn’t opt for an over-powdered look, but had a natural dewy look.

Ladies, keep in mind that cheeks blush naturally with a hint of “glow”.  Too much powder to achieve a “matte” look can often look dead and lifeless.  Lighten up on the powder unless you have overly oily skin and let a little natural glow shine through!

Kate Hudson looks fabulous with her eyes accentuated in a golden bronze.  Choose a neutral taupe for the crease, then line your eyes, both upper and lower with a chocolate brown pencil, making sure to line into the inner corner of the eyes to create an enclosed eye.   Choose a beautiful bronze shadow with a hint of glimmer- with a small angle brush, smudge over the liner to create a soft smokey look with a hint of glimmer.  This not only adds a shimmering look, but sets your liner as well.  Finish your look off like Kate did with a neutral lip followed with a coat of gloss to keep your pout stylish and trendy.

Whether you’re heading out onto the Red Carpet, or for a day at the office, always head out in style!

Stay Gorgeous Girls!
